The University of Cape Town (UCT) in collaboration with the International Jazz Day South Africa (IJDSA), invites you to celebrate Africa Month 2022.

 

An exiting week ahead! On Thursday, 26 May 2022, the University of Cape Town hosts a two-part #AfricaMonth panel discussion on language and music at the Baxter Theatre
𝟭𝟬𝗵𝟬𝟬 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟮𝗵𝟬𝟬 | Panel Discussion 1 discusses the contemporary role of Kiswahili for integration on the continent.
𝟭𝟰𝗵𝟬𝟬 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟲𝗵𝟬𝟬 | Panel Discussion 2 examines and celebrates the legacy of Miriam Makeba in the year of what would have been her 90th birthday.
