On November 2024, the Center for Justice and Advocacy at the Certa Foundation in partnership with Kvinna till Kvinna and Hosted in Africa convened a Stakeholder Engagement on Technology-Facilitated Gender-Based Violence (TFGBV) themed “The Role and Risk of Technology in Combating and Facilitating GBV.” Bringing together multi-sectoral stakeholders, government agencies, students, youth representatives and women-led NGOs, the participants discussed a wide range of issues including:

1. How to use technology for good
2. Tackling the rise of technology facilitated gender-based violence
3. The impact of social media on youth mental health.
