AI 4 Afrika Panels 2 & 3 | Penn State AI Week 2024

The AI 4 Afrika Community and it’s longstanding HiA Network Members were featured in key discussion panels in the 2024 Penn State AI Week!

These panels covered a range of topics related to artificial intelligence and its impact on various industries with live demonstrations and discussions on their applications. Specifically, the AI 4 Afrika Members lead discussions in Panel 2 on day two of PSU’s AI Week; and a follow-up Panel 3 held just after the AI Week’s conclusion.

Moreover, the PSU AI Week presented Hosted in Africa with a milestone opportunity to showcase our first large scale implementation of our HiA Collab productivity suite! Both Panel 2 and 3 were held virtually through our self-hosted meetings and webinar set-up; showcasing the ability for independent and Africa-first technological solutions that will form the future of African data-sovereignty.

But the experience does not end here, our connected HiA Network allows panelists and you, our audience, to carry on key aspects of these discussions beyond the panels and their time constraints. A specially crafted Community – Penn State AI Week – The HiA Experience! – has been set up with a structured discussion forum for Q&A’s and other forms of engagement between panelists and the audience.
